Journey is a BLANK full-body silicone doll kit, sculpted and poured by me, Dawn Donofrio, in beautiful, soft blend platinum silicone. This cuddly, chubby, 4 -6 month old-size baby doll is so much fun to dress and pose! She/he takes 6-9 month old size real baby clothing (closer to 9 month size!). Journey comes with an open mouth and a separate tongue. This chunky large sized silicone weighs around 15 lbs. and measures 25-26″ long, depending how you pose the legs. The blanks shown here both have armatures.
You will receive the BLANK doll, with no paint, no hair etc. Photos of a finished baby Journey (to be added later) are for illustration purposes only, representing how this doll can look when finished.

I am not limiting this edition – however, the number of dolls I can produce will depend on whether I can create a master copy or not, and the life of the first mold.
Additionally, I am leaving the door open for the possibility of a vinyl partial kit in the distant future.

(First drop, 14 kits, March 23, 2026) *** Each blank kit is made to order. This is NOT a ready-to-ship item. Minimum wait is 3-4 weeks, and could be up to 12 weeks if we are currently working on MANY orders (like when a new doll drops)
(Second drop, 5 kits, April 27, 2026) *** Each blank kit is made to order. This is NOT a ready-to-ship item. Minimum wait is 6 weeks, and could be up to 12 weeks, depending on current workflow. This second drop will be fulfilled AFTER we work through the first drop.
All dolls are sculpted by me and poured in silicone in my Bayville, NJ studio. I do not have any distributors for my silicone dolls.

PAYMENT
You may choose to pay in full for your doll, which puts you in the pouring list immediately following first drop orders, or a 6 month payment plan. Please note that if you get a payment plan, your doll will be put onto the pouring schedule AFTER all payments have been completed, so your wait time to receive your blank begins at the time your doll is completely paid off. They are not ready to ship on the day it’s paid off. *****Alternately, if you choose to pay it off early, it doesn’t necessarily mean you will receive it faster – I have planned the pouring schedule according to your original commitment. If you need it faster, please contact me and I will see if I can squeeze it in earlier. Thank you!
A 6 month payment includes 7 payments. After you add up your total with options, divide that number by 7. This will be your deposit as well as monthly payment amount for 6 months.
****If you are adding armatures to your doll, please note that they are wire and must be handled gently. I go over this topic in the silicone care and tips section and FAQ page of this website. Armatures are NOT warranteed. They WILL break if overused. We currently do not offer repair work at my studio. The longevity of your armature depends on your usage.
