Evie 6 – Limited Edition Full Body Silicone

Evie was lovingly sculpted from clay to resemble my friend’s beautiful baby Genevieve. I worked on this baby for months, to make sure every detail was just right. She was then perfectly molded and poured by D3 Creation in soft, ecoflex 20 silicone, that mimics the feel of real baby skin! When I got her back, the work to bring her to life began.

The baby doll in this auction is the sixth and final pour from the mold of the first limited edition collector doll I have produced in almost a decade. “Evie” is a limited edition doll. Only 6 of these babies exist in the entire world! Don’t miss out on your last chance to have her.

Only top-quality materials were used in finishing this special baby doll. I have chosen to give Evie #6 a light ethnic skin tone. Her lifelike skin glows with layer upon layer of rich tones of silicone paint, meticulously applied over several days. She is painted from her head to her tiny toes!

She is also anatomically correct. Like any piece of art, she has minor imperfections in the painting, which is normal and adds to the uniqueness of her hand-finishing.

Evie 6/6 has beautiful green/gray German glass eyes that shine with realism. I set the eyes in a way that makes it appear like she is looking right at you when you hold her in your arms!

She has a partially open mouth, and you can see her gum-line inside when you gently squeeze her cheeks. She can take a small pacifier.

Soft, thick, wavy dark brown mohair is rooted directly into her head and hand-applied on her eyebrows, for added realism. The hair looks like it is growing right out of her “skin.” This Evie has a regular, multiple hair rooting style, it is NOT mono rooting.

Though Evie is a doll, she is a high-end collectible piece of art and is not a child’s toy. She is not intended for “play,” as extended and rough handling will decrease her integrity as a piece of art. You may handle her gently and change her clothes carefully. Her hair can be misted with water and brushed very gently with a toothbrush, as well.

Evie is a larger baby, at 22.5 inches in length and weighing 10.5lbs. She has a head circumference of 14.5 inches. She looks and feels just like a real baby. Her head is ball-jointed and turns from side to side.

Evie will come home with the layette shown in the photos, with paci and a customized clip. Other props, including Moses basket, are NOT included.

This very special doll is the only Evie in the edition that comes from me with a posable armature installed inside it’s arms. You can bend her arms at the elbow joints and the arms will stay in place. She is so much fun to pose and hold.
